Desert

The craziness of moving and getting things together has finally settled down and me and my family are really loving Las Vegas. well, I'm not sure if its exactly Las Vegas we love or the 65 degree winters, or the fact that we don't have to shovel snow off of our cars, or drive in it, or freeze our faces off everytime we walk out the front door. so maybe ask us if we like Vegas in the middle of the summer when its 200 degrees and see if we still like it haha don't worry I'm sure we still will like it.
One of the great things about living here aside from the weather is that there is always something to do! This weekend we packed a lunch and headed out to Red Rock Canyon.
It was nice to get out for a while and enjoy the nice sunny saturday afternoon, but as for the whole red rock canyon- it wasn't the cool. We could have just driven to hurricane and enjoyed prettier scenery but, it was still enjoyable. I think the desert is so pretty and I didn't want to stop taking pictures! I feel like its so peaceful and relaxing out there and I could just sit and watch the sunrise and set forever.
