The past 3 days my husband and I have gone up to his families cabin on Kolob Mountain. located at blue springs. WOW is it beautiful. I have been going up to Kolob Mountain my whole life and I still get taken away by its beauty. The past few days we were up there it rained a little which made it even more beautiful I think. I don't think I could ask for anymore when I have Andy. my camera. summer rain. & Kolob mountain. It was a great getaway from everything. I actually really enjoyed photographing something other that people kissing... haha I thought these would be refreshing to the eye. Most of these pictures aren't edited, I just loved that natural overcast sunlight and of course MY NEW LENS. mmhm, its fabulous.
These two pictures (top and bottom) are not edited at all except for my logo. natural lighting and coloring. Taken with the new 50mm 1.8 (thanks kierra!)
I've been pulling lots of late nights trying to get caught up on everyone's pictures! I'm almost there! I just looked at the clock and its 1:20am! I didn't even know it was that late! I had so much fun with these two love birds. They are the greatest people, and holy cow- SO in love. They met on a blind date, didn't fall in love right away but instantly became best friends and it just took off from there! During this session they didn't ever stop kissing and laughing and they were always touching in some way. It was adorable :) They've been engaged for 5 months and are getting married at the end of June in the Salt Lake Temple (refer below to their announcements) I can't wait to do their bridals in SLC! These guys look great together and I have no doubt in my mind that they are the one for each other. *the blog cuts the pictures off a tiny bit, so just bare with me!
I really enjoyed this session! I was so excited about it when I saw the sky, and how awesome it would fit with the locations we went! I thought the pictures turned out so good! I had a good time with these two driving around everywhere. Justin said he fell for Dallas right away, but Dallas would hardly give him the time of day. She didn't fall fast, but when she did she fell hard, he said. These guys wouldn't stop looking at each other I had to keep telling them to look at me! I have no doubt they will have a great marriage and I'm so happy for them!
(not the pictures from the sneak peek) Meet Ashley and Rich :) oh how in love they are! Rich actually just gave her the ring yesterday! She thought it would be a few more weeks until she got the ring so it was a big surprise! They went horseback riding and then he proposed, romantic right!? He's going to Germany for 4 weeks and they wanted to get engagement pictures done before he left in a few days so this was a short notice photoshoot, but luckily I left myself open for that day! My wonderful sister-in-law (also Ashley's sister) and I drove up to cedar to do the pictures, I was so worried cause it had rained all day in Hurricane! The clouds just opened up for a us for a few hours to get some sweet shots! At the end it started raining and Heather followed us around holding an umberella over me & my camera for me! (thanks heather!) Ashley and Rich are so cute together, I have no doubt in my mind they are head over heels for each other! Congratulations guys! can't wait for your wedding in a few months!
You come across a photo that you absolutely love, for no reason at all. I was finishing up Kelsey's engagments and this picture came up. I love it just thought I'd share :)
I was SO happy when Kelsey one of my best buds in the whole world asked me to do her wedding pictures! As soon as she asked me I already knew they would turn out great! I had the best time with these two love birds, Ricky is the perfect guy for Kels! As we were driving around to different locations I was asking Ricky a bunch of questions and the answer usually just ended up with "I just love kels, she's my everything and I never want to be without her" kind of answers I know he loves her so much and he'll take care of her forever! I can't wait for the rest of the their pictures and wedding in June! I seriously could have posted every single picture from the shoot of them, but I narrowed it down to a few of my favs. Thank you Kelsey for letting me take your pictures! I hope you like them!
